Our initial desire was to provide all families with the ability to homeschool. We launched the Academy in July 2017. Our vision was grand! However, we found we needed more manpower and a better location. Our hope is that we will be able to re-launch the Academy for the 2020-2021 school year. Please watch this page for updates.
Our goals are to provide daily professional tutoring from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. We will work with small groups that are supportive of students with learning differences. Each student will have a Strategic Instruction Plan (SIP), developed in collaboration with the tutor and the family. The intent is to focus on language arts and math specifically and integrate other subjects through a variety of activities.
PFES Academy will strive to provide a sensory-friendly, differentiated learning environment.
In addition to the Academy, we aim to partner with a network of providers to provide Before School and After School care. (See our anticipated schedule)
